The last time 34 year old Shannan Watts, mother of two young girls was last seen was on the early hours of August 13, 2018, when she was dropped off at home by a colleague after a busy weekend in Arizona on business. By the next day, Shannan and her daughters Bella and Celeste were missing.
Her husband Chris Watts, appeared on the local news, pleading for his family safe return. Less than twenty-four hours later, Watts made a shocking confession to the police. He had strangled his pregnant wife and smothered his daughters. He dumped their bodies at a nearby oil site.
The mask of the perfect husband and father; the one presented in Facebook slipped and what lay ahead was an image of an unstable, unfaithful man with boiling rage. Why this tragedy happened?
